Achter de schermen hebben we hard aan deze wet gewerkt\, samen met Sandra Beckerman van de SP en haar team. De wet is bedoeld om wooncoöperaties beter te verankeren in beleid en speciale regelingen en subsidies mogelijk te maken. \nDe onthulling vindt plaats in de binnentuin van woonvereniging Roggeveenstraat in Den Haag. SP en Cooplink nodigen nieuwszenders en de schrijvende pers uit. De scoop is dat wooncoöperaties inspelen op de wooncrisis en alle politieke steun verdienen. Wij zorgen per slot van rekening voor betaalbare huurwoningen\, nu én voor toekomstige generaties.\nCoöperatief wonen is de derde sector in de volkshuisvesting\, naast koop en huur. \nPraktisch\nDe binnentuin van woonvereniging Roggeveenstraat bereik je via de poort tussen . \nPlan je reis per OV of je route.

Na afloop van haar presentatie in het Engels gaat zij in gesprek met onder ander de Rotterdamse architect en auteur Marieke Kums (De Architectuur van Wooncoöperaties)\, Arie Lengkeek (Operatie Wooncoöperatie) en Guus Speelberg (Crowdbuilding.nl/Crowdcafé) over wat er zo uniek is aan wooncoöperaties in Zwitserland en Duitsland en wat we daar in Nederland en in Rotterdam in het bijzonder van kunnen leren. Na afloop van de dialoog is er uitgebreid ruimte om vragen te stellen over het opzetten en realiseren van een wooncoöperatie. \n“Whether architect\, politician or developer\, for decades now\, international housing professionals have been admiring the quality of cooperative housing in Zurich\, which remains affordable for lower income groups thanks to cooperative developers’ commitment to non-speculation. “Quality”\, however\, is not only about floor plans or façade typologies or sustainable building practices.
